Ms. Payan, Bilingual Coordinator

Hi, my name is Irma Payan and I have worked at Quincy Jones since it first opened in 2010. I have thirteen years of teaching experience and I’ve taught all grades from K-5. Currently, I am thrill to expand my role at Quincy Jones as a TSP advisor. I have always had a passion for working with children. I enjoy observing how they learn and experience new challenges. I love helping others succeed and enjoy providing opportunities for their confidence to grow. I earned my bachelor’s degree at CSUDH and my masters in Curriculum & Instruction at CSULA. 

Outside of school I enjoy shopping, going out to eat, meeting up with friends, and traveling. I am a busy mother of two beautiful sons, Danilo and Davian, and enjoy spending time with them by exploring various activities at home and outdoors. 

It is a pleasure to be part of Quincy Jones and I look forward in continuing to work with students, teachers, parents and staff.
